October 27

Alright, I know many of you will not know the significance of that date.

BUT I DO!

This. Does this mean anything to you?!

It should. Oh my god, it should.

If you recall, I reviewed the first book in the Grimoire Trilogy, Lichgates. AND I LOVED IT! (Yes, I realize I'm using a lot of caps lock in this post. But lemme tell you a secret *whispers* I don't have a caps lock key.)

Anyway, the second book in the trilogy, Treason, is going to be released on the 27 of this month. *fangirl squee* DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?!

We have just enough time to read it before NaNoWriMo starts. *happy dance*

Anyway, that's all I really wanted to say today. I didn't have any other blog post planned or in mind, and I'd been meaning to do this one for awhile now.

Thank you, for reading my little outburst.

I will leave you with this:

What book are you most looking forward to?

  1. You get yours right before #NaNoWriMo, I get mine in the last days of it. The new Harry Dresden book comes out on the 27th of November so, if I maintain the same writing pace I did last year, I'll finish just in time to reward myself with a new book.

  2. Ah!

    I guess I'm lucky then!

Though I COULD torture myself and withhold it until I finish NaNoWriMo...

And... I've never read the Dresden Files, but a friend recommended them to me some time ago. Are they any good?

    As always, thanks for reading!

  3. Nah, you need to indulge not torture. It'll be the last thing you get to really do for the next 30 days!

The Dresden books are very good. Modern magic, some cool takes on other realms and whatnot. They are a tad slow in the first couple and some of the characters come off more stilted and far less refined than in the later books but they do grow and become more human. Well, in some cases.

Several different takes on werewolves too. I think you'd like them.

    1. Whelp...

They sound like books I should read before NaNoWriMo (A LOT of the same elements that are in my NaNovel). Though... perhaps that would affect and change my ideas... I like my ideas right now...

Perhaps I'll read them later. Adding them to my TBR list. if I had a TBR list.
